A Development Manager is required my technology-driven client based in Dublin. They are industry leaders that have operations rapidly spreading throughout Europe, with the technology department solving challenges that are exceptional in both scale and complexity. With the group operating across many dimensions and global networks of high volume, highly available applications, this really is a one-off opportunity for any Online Software Development Manager to grow and inspire an already highly talented web development team to new heights.
The Development Manager will create technical strategies in Web development and ensuring that my client continues to provide cutting-edge technologies to the development team for the foreseeable future by implementing the latest best practices. You would be expected to work with internal teams and maintain my clients World Class web services by providing technical leadership to a large development team with a focus on continuous improvement by evaluating, selecting and delivering effective tools to drive this objective.
The ideal Development Manager should be:
- An expert in Object Orientated/Database/Web technologies (the team are using RUBY, AS3, MySQL, Google/Facebook APIs, Fireworks, Flash, amongst others).
- Appreciation of web trends including User Experience and Social Media is a bonus.
- Experienced with Agile.
- An understanding of cross browser Mobile Development is advantageous.
- Coming from a solid background of project management of delivering and sustaining rich web products in a fast-paced environment while providing a proven ability to grow and mentor a highly dynamic and technically gifted web development team.
- Gifted in programming, design and system analysis you will have accumulated a profile of successful projects to discuss at interview stage.
